Neil Stubley, head of courts and horticulture at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) has been appointed to the GMA Board as an independent director.
Commenting on Neil’s appointment, GMA CEO Geoff Webb says: “It’s an honour to welcome Neil to the GMA Board of Directors. Neil is respected throughout the industry and will bring new perspective and fresh thinking to the Board. The link with the AELTC also follows the past relationship established with Eddie Seward MBE who was a past president and patron of the GMA.
Neil says he’s looking forward to contributing to the Board. “The invitation to join the GMA Board of Directors is a fantastic opportunity for me to better understand the challenges that face our industry from a different angle and I found my first Board Meeting very informative.”
The GMA would like to thank the hard work and dedication given by retiring Board members: Dr Kate Entwistle, from The Turf & Disease Centre; Dougie Robertson, West Ham grounds manager; and Mike Lewis, member of the GMA Midland Branch and bowling green maintenance expert.
